I have heard many great things about this place and wanted to try it out for myself. I really loved the quality, freshness and variety of the doughnuts. Great place for good dessert.

These are the best doughnuts! This place is great! It I open 24 hours (everyday but Monday) and is a typical old fashioned doughnut shop. I love Country Style Doughnut shop. It's really a special place. That's all they do. Easy to get to just a few minutes from the Richmond airport. Open almost all the time - 24 hours- except Monday's. Awesome. We had a variety - jelly, toasted coconut, chocolate glaze, chocolate cream & maple raised. They were all so tasty & fresh. We took them back to the hotel & put them in the fridge, they were still fresh the next day. It's a little out of the way, but worth it.

A fan of the cake donuts like they make at Dunkin. These are also cake but better. There is something to be said for a small family business that still does things the "old-fashioned" way.
