I am a fond sushi lover and have had it just about everywhere. If you are looking for Americanized sushi with cream cheese in your rolls, etc., then this is not the place for you. Shiro's offers traditional sushi. The sushi rice here is the best I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Excellent sushi and service is great. Every time I come here, the fish is impeccable. Do get here around 5pm or there is a long wait. But, if you have to wait an hour, they will take your cell number and just go down the street to one of the many bars for a drink, preferably the Lava Lounge. Also,... More

Shiro's only open in the evening and accept reservations except for the sushi counter which you have to line up. Parking is a challenge especially on Fri or Sat evenings after 8 pm where meter parking on the street is free. If you are driving make sure you arrive 30 mins earlier to find parking. We did not sit at... More

My wife and I were in Seattle and had been told Shiros was TE place to get great sushi. We thankfully made reservations as the place was very busy. The place was awesome and the service was great. Those not used to high end sushi restaraunts could be in for a surprise when they see the prices but it is... More

Shiro's is quite possibly the best place for sushi outside of Japan. He trained with Jiro (of "Jiro Dreams of Sushi") for over six years. Join the line outside by 4:45 to ensure your spot at the sushi bar. Eat whatever is handed to you. This is a meal of a lifetime.

We went to Shiro's for dinner and we loved it. We'll definitely go back! We sat at the sushi counter et let the chef choose for us. It was fabulous, the fish was fresh, the sushi were simple but the simplicity is what made the flavours shine. The chef started with classic sushi (salmon, tuna, etc) and as the evening... More

Read all the glowing reviews...but we're some what underwhelmed... Small portions and did not feel for the money the overall experience was nearly worth it. Yes the Sushi is high quality but at a Per Piece Price of 2.75 and up and small cut rolls of 10 or more..we will try somewhere else on our next Sushi in Seattle!

What a joy it is to visit Shiro's when we travel to Seattle. This beautiful, simple sushi restaurant continues to be packed, with a happy buzz, and when old Shiro is working the counter there is almost a glow about the place. A great evening and, of course, fantastic food. Everything is made so lovingly. Ask what's special and freshest... More
