Never knew salmon could be so good. Nice place. It was a bit crowded, but it's hard to blame them for that. They were friendly, the service was good (20%+), and the food was excellent.

The location of "The Bake" is perfect if you are coming back from a glacier tour. Stop in and check it out. Start off with a complimentary giant pickle while you wait. It is worth the wait!!!

Great food, Rustic decor. Pick your own pickle from the barrel and drink out of a mason jar. I had the caribou sandwich. Yummy... great food and atmosphere.

This is the hands-down local favorite. Best price on King Crab dinner in Seward. Home made desserts.....can't go wrong. Always a wait between 6-8. Open for dinner only. Worth the visit.

We loved the Salmon Bake; had we known about it our first night in Seward, we would have eaten there then as well! When we arrived the place was packed, but we happily passed the time at the large bar, enjoying home-brewed root beer and Alaskan beer. The wait was approx. 30 minutes. Soon after we were seated, a very... More

The 20-30 minute drive there that bends around some hills and follows along side a creek I would venture to say was even cooler than the glacier. You cant get to the glacier to touch it, but it is nevertheless cool to see. For me, however, I just like creeks and being able to get right up on them so... More

Just outside the town of Seward, AK is a busy country style restaurant with good and reasonably priced "for Alaska" meals. The salmon and halibut are the best (locally caught) but all the meals are good. Take the afternoon to visit the Exit Glacier park and then stop by the restaurant for supper on your way back to Seward. It's... More

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner on a gorgeous August night. Scallop ceviche, salmon, homemade pickles from the barrel. Laid back atmosphere, large mugs of cold beer and delicious food.

Stayed at the Salmon bake cabins and ate twice at the restaurant. The 'salmon bake dinner' was the top salmon meal I had during our 2 weeks in Alaska. Loved the atmosphere.

Was recommented by the B&B owner we stayed. Usually not following such recommendations as they tend to send you to their freinds. Ate Salmon, nothing fancy. It was simply perfect (although it's hard to fail on Salmon) everything was just right. The taste, size, side dishes, drink, price, atmosphere. We went there twice, definitely a recommendation
