Our group of 7 went to the roadhouse on a beautiful sunny day. We sat outside and ordered food and drinks. We received our drinks promptly and we proceeded to enjoy the sun and wait for our food. About 15 mins later our server came to us to inform us that we had 'thrown them off' and that we would... More

We had dinner one evening and breakfast the next morning. We were not very hungry at dinner and I had salad and my husband had soup. TheIt wasd very, very good. The next morning we ordered a full breakfast and it was delicious! Big slices of ham, eggs, cooked to order, hash browns, with homemade ketchup and toast. The service... More

We went here for our anniversary dinner by suggestion from some locals. The place was overly decorated for the upper crust, I guess. Not Alaska homey style at all. Service was good but not excellent. Food was the same good but not excellent. Price was up there, even for Seward. I expected to pay a preimum but not the gold... More

The Salmon dinner was some of the best I have tasted. I loved the creative salads the chef conjured up.

Our waiter was very helpful, and the food was good. We were one of two couples in the dining area. The music was way too loud, & was cheesy jazz. The table next to us was way too close, and the hostess tried THREE times to seat people there. Each time, the customers asked for more privacy (because the rest... More

Visiting Seward ... saw good reviews for Resurrection Roadhouse so stopped for breakfast. The waitress was nice and understandably it is the end of the season, but seriously?!?!? Were told they had scrambled all of the eggs for the buffet (which was closed) and were out of eggs so we had to order scrambled. And they were out of sausage... More

We dined here mid week on the 29th of August after the owner of CreekSide Cabins reccomended this place and reading reviews on this site. We were celebrating my wife's 50th birthday. It was our first meal in Alaska. The service was inconsistent and the food was very forgettable. The halibut was tasteless and salty. Maybe it was an off... More

We actually ate in the bar attached to the roadhouse as the restuarant was full, but we were able to order off of the bar and restuarant menu. Overall, the food was ok- not the best meal we had in Alaska, but not bad.

My wife and I had four "experiences" at the Roadhouse durning our three night stay at the related Seward Windsong Lodge. They went downhill. My four star rating is sort of an average. The first night we had drinks on the deck, which looks out across the road in front of the building to the river and mountains. The weather... More
