An enjoyable bar and food was also good. Sit with your feet in the sand and enjoy being next to the clear water. Also visited for breakfast which was quite a basic menu but good value.

Went on Friday night, the band was very good, service was excellent, drinks and food also very good. We then went the next afternoon and had the $5 Mai Tai's, they were excellent. Right on the Ocean with the waves splashing right on the rocks in front of the bar. A fun place to hang out.

We loved Huggo's we just had to go back & try Huggo's on the Rock's. love the tables & chairs in the sand on the deck. That was a huge surprise. Felt like i was on the beach. My vegan sandwich was just ok. Husband enjoyed his fish tacos. The key lime pie is the best we've had since being... More

Went here before taking my son to the airport . We enjoyed the view and great sliders for happy hour. The drink special was the sunset and it was delicious! They have a band later in the day but I could not stay.Nachos were awful but those sliders were worth the trip!

It has a sweet view of Bill Gate's house and Kona town. Your feet are literally in the sand in front of one of the most beautiful vistas in the Hawaiian Islands. The fish and chips was great. It wasn't fine dining by any stretch but this place is just magical for what it is.

Good food, great atmosphere! Fish tacos were awesome! I would come here any day! Being next to the ocean was very nice too.

This is a great choice for Kona. Budget friendly happy hour with food options being typical like sliders, tacos, nachos. The $4 mai-tai's are a steal, especially considering the oceanfront view. Every night there is live music and entertainment and the staff is very accommodating.

They always had live music and hula dancers. You are in the sand at your table and it all overlooks the ocean. Great place. We were there every night we were in Kona.

The location, right on the beach is awesome! The beer is typically over-priced like most places in Kona. When busy the service can be pretty slow - but the beach bar experience is worth it. Huggos on the Rocks is a place not to be missed when visiting the Big Island.

What a fun place for live music and drinks in an open air environment with an ocean view. Friendly staff and more. Just a tad crowded... standing room only.
