Had lunch here and it was amazing!! Pad Thai was out of this world...just one block off Ali'i drive. Everything tasted fresh and had just the right amount of spice. Husband had the Rice curry and raved about it. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Big Island!!

Walked in on a whim as we saw the restaurant while stopped at light intersection. Friendly staff who gave their recommendations on what to try. The red curry with beef and veggies with sticky rice was good and was the traditional Pad Thai. Would return but byob next time.

We were there for Mothers Day, and it appeared that the management didn't put on any additional staff to handle the extra business. We saw only three waitresses when there should probably have been at least six. They were doing double duty busing tables. Our waitress took our order in a reasonable amount of time, but it was an hour... More

We had a craving for Thai Food and again, had heard good things about the restaurant. We called ahead for reservations but were informed that there were plenty of tables, and indeed, it was quite quiet during that evening. The service was very good and the food very good and not too hot! Portions were sufficient and the four of... More

The yellow chickencurry my husband got was so good, I got it to go for my dinner later. The fried spring rolls, pad Thai, and fried rice were good. Sticky rice perfect and kept from drying out in little plastic baggies. I hope we can get that curry again before we leave. Clean, good service, good portions.

Great Ginger Salmon, wonderful Tome Kaa soup. Everyone's meal was excellent. Next time I want to try the duck, the problem will be: which one? Prices are reasonable, serving sizes are more than adequate. Service was great. Authentic recipes. Make sure to read the inside of first page of the menus for a brief history. Excellent value!!/

We ordered take out from Krua Thai on our first night in Kona. The prices were comparable to what we pay at our favorite Thai place back home, so that was a welcome discovery. The food was incredible! The spicy pad Thai was flavorful and searingly hot - just the way we like it. And the portions were huge -... More

Right away, the service was lovely. The ladies there were attentive, cheerful, not overbearing and efficient. The food was okay. I had a curry dish, which lacked flavor, almost entirely. I know this curry dish well, and understand it is a traditionally more mild dish, though what I ate had a vague hint of peanut (when I ate an actual... More

Read reviews and had a hankering for some Thai. Interesting place up a block from the water. Tempura prawns appetizer was awesome. Had fish special- was a bit of a disappointment. Phad Thai was very good. I think more of an order out place next time. View of Starbucks not much to write home about.

The place has the most fantastic and authentic thai food we have had in years and it is cheap and fast too. Staff is very service minded. The only inconvenience is the location, but that is still a minor.
