My boyfriend and I and another couple came here for dinner, the restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel. Service was good, we were seated right away, and the server brought chips and salsa and took our drink orders. The food was tasty and well prepared. They have a good selection of beers, and the margaritas were really... More

Tex-Mex style food. The chile verde was excellent and the chicken enchiladas were very good. The salsa was not very spicy and the chips were thick and over-fried, but we managed to eat a whole basket anyway. The sides of rice and beans were on the average side of Tex-Mex style Mexican food, with the rice like a Mexican version... More

Party of 8 waited 10 minutes for a table, 10 minutes for server and 45 for the food. That would have been the end of it if the food wasn't so horribly blan and overpriced. Not sure if they rely on the fact that they are the only Mexican joint with a bar in the city of 29. But this... More

We have eaten here a few times during our visits to 29 Palms, the food has varied over the years but seems to be on the upswing. The service can vary depending on how busy they are but overall, it's good. Don't expect high end Mexican cuisine but good 'ol fashion Mexican American fare....enjoy!

The servers were nice but a little harried. The food was decent but they got my order wrong. My husband enjoyed his food, as did the kids. It was a place that could easily handle little kids and their noise and mess.

Have been here many times on climbing trips. Service good, clean, usual menu of Mexican food; served hot and promptly. Fish tacos and cheese enchiladas scored well. We are always hungry after climbing and they give enough food to satisfy. To us it is a good choice in 29 Palms.

Great atmosphere. Quick service, great salsa! Only thing that seemed a little ridiculous was being charged for sour cream and guacamole...I thought those were condiments?? But the food tastes great!

My husband and I stopped by here after a full day of sightseeing at Joshua Tree. This is an old bank building (the vault is still there). The food here, in my opinion is very much like good old fashioned Mexican cooking. The waitress was great and kept us in delicious salsa during our meal. I had the tamale, cheese... More
