Not bad at all, but not much more. An American-owned and -run place with prices that are almost American.

We used this restaurant as a standard by which to judge all others in Pedasi. The others didn't come close. the fish was great, presentation was wonderful and service was excellent. On Friday nights the owner, John, and other expats get together and provide musical entertainment. Not bad for a bunch of old men.
I honestly do not even remember what I ate. I just remember it was good and although the portion was somewhat small I remembered that it was probably best for me to be that way. The service was great and Lari' the parrot was very entertaining. The food was very good we wish we would have been there the night...

Loved this place. On Tuesday and Friday nights the owner, American and his expat buddies play live classic rock and roll. They were so good and had everyone dancing before the night was over. The food was very good and meeting so many fun loving people was a blast! We can't wait to go back.
We had lunch here one day as the food at Hotel Romano was repetitive. Friendly service and a good selection of food. I also had a fruit smoothie as I was driving............delicious. We missed out on the evening entertainment as we could not negotiate the road from Villa Romano at night. Worth a revisit to this nice restaurant.
We had a great meal with a large group on a Friday night. The menu had options for vegans- fresh fish, great burgers. Everyone in our group had a delicious meal and the atmosphere was fun with live music. It sounds very gringo-y for being in Panama- but a local recommended it and it was really good. I hear they...

When we ate there the town was experience some power issues so the only thing you could order was Chicken Fingers - they were good chicken fingers but not usually a menu item I would pick. They had a cool band playing that night and the service was freindly.
This guy, John, I think is his name, has the best ribs on the planet. We go to KC regularly and eat at Gates' or Aurthur Bryant's every time. We go to the Carolinas once per year and eat Bar-B-Q there as well as Memphis. This character at Smiley's bought his cooker and attached smoker from the Amish in Lancaster...

I like the fish! Go for the red snapper. They bring it fresh and nice. Service is fast, people are friendly.
Very good food, american owner, interesting live music on one occasion. Service could be a bit faster. Good choices for seating, can be outside and somewhat secluded.
