I had no clue about this place and I was actually just thirsty and just wanted a Lemonade, walked in the door and I was not going to leave without trying and their BBQ and it was awesome (so was their smoker)! A must if you are in New Orleans!

I've eaten at top BBQ joints all around the country and The Joint holds their own. And certainly by NOLA standards, not traditionally known for BBQ, it's head and shoulders above the rest. Service is brisk and it's often super busy but I suppose it comes with the territory when the food is so damn good.

Excellent southern food in a nice environment. Go for the ribs and the slaw! There's also pickup available.
