After my son graduated from Tulane University I was looking for a nice place to bring the family to celebrate. This was the perfect location! Great food, wonderful service and not ridiculously priced. Felt that the prices were very reasonable. The table had the Chicken, BBQ Shrimp and Pork Chops (3 orders!) and to a person, we each loved what... More

I am a native New Orleans so I am used to good food. I took some Canadian fiends for Sunday Jazz Brunch . The atmosphere, music and food were all outstanding. Everyone was impressed. We were even invited to see the upstairs since it was not occupied that day(what a treat-the separate dining rooms are beautifully decorated.) .

Four girlfriends travelling to the Big Easy, looking for a night of fine dining! Muriel's did not disappoint. We chose to partake of the 3 choice Appetizer, Entree and Dessert for $ 37.95. I had the Prosciutto Tart, Double Cut Pork Chop, and Flourless Chocolate Cake. The service was impeccable, the food delicious. Our waiter recommended the pork chop be... More

Muriel's is such a neat looking restaurant. I made reservations on Open Table and arrived 30 mins early, so we had drinks in the bar which is very nice. They have the best hurricanes! I had the prixe fixe menu and had a nice salad, excellent seafood bayoubaisse and wonderful creme brulee. My husband had the alligator appetizer, which I... More

Last night I ate at this location with about 75 people. I have found these large events to typically have boring and below average food. This was not the case last night. Even though the menu was pre selected the food was very good. My wife and I both had the filet and they were quality cuts cooked correctly. The... More

Great location and atmosphere for Sunday Brunch. The staff was a little overwhelming with a three waiters for our table but the service was fast and courteous. The jazz band was a nice addition. The Crab Benedict and Eggs Benedict were good but he food was not hot by the time it came out. The desert (Cream Boulez) was excellent.

Situated in the heart of it all, Muriel's exceeded my expectations. New Orleans truly has some of the best places to dine and the freshest seafood around. What impressed me so much was not only the welcoming atmosphere unique to New Orleans but affordability of a three course meal. In New Orleans it is not uncommon to pay upwards of... More

We went to Commander's Palace, Delmonico, and others during our stay, but Muriel's was our favorite! The food was wonderful and the service was excellent! It was very busy, but we were seated on time and it was not too loud at all, and were very relaxed. Did I say the food was wonderful?
