We were told about this place by a New Orleans resident. It was a great recommendation.; They have a variety of small plates, well-prepared and suitable for a vegetarian in our party. A sign said to order at the bar, but a wonderful waitress, Caroline, took our order at our table. Live entertainment was top notch. We went back a... More

We strongly recommend you head down to the three Muses for dinner. The walk is great as you amble past old buildings down Royal Street into Frenchman Street where you will find two amazing jazz bars but the three Muses has outstanding food, it's a must, away from the million tourists and out of the French Quarter. The band is... More

Three Muses was a great find and worth the wait. 3 Muses is a restraunt disguised as a bar. It is a small place and table space is at a premium. You place your order with anyone who walks by- or place your order at the bar. Not the type of place you would expect such quality food. However, the... More

Not sure what all the hype is about this place. Waited for 30 minutes on a Wednesday night for a table then attempted to place our order for food at the bar (as instructed) for 10 minutes. Dumbest process I have ever seen to order food especially when 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Eventually gave up trying... More

We read about Three Muses online. We were lucky to arrive at Happy Hour which allowed us some discounts on some small plates (bites). They have some wines and since we'd ordered the bacon wrapped dates, red was in order. Oddly, they only have splits - not full bottles for sale, not sure why. Signs on the wall said to... More

Atmosphere, drinks, music and fantastic food. Having tapas size portions was a welcome change for those visitors not used to US portion sizes

The food was delicious and eclectic, the music was outstanding (bought the CD) and the drinks were perfect for my simple tastes and my cocktail-snob friends. Great time all around.

Frenchmen Street is located near the French Quarter, but light years away from the neon and "glitziness" of Bourbon Street. We met several local couples earlier and both suggested that we try this restaurant. I am so glad that we listened to them. The food was excellent, the menu is comprised only of tapas, salads, were reasonably priced and well prepared.... More

Went to Three Muses on a busy Sunday night. Interesting service style with floating servers and bartenders. We enjoyed this type of service and did not feel forgotten at all. Food was excellent all around, and the server was sure to point out that usually at least two dishes per person are required to make a meal. Finding four dishes... More

We were cruising Frenchmen Street looking for music (albeit a little early in the evening) and chose this place because we had heard they served tapas portioned entrees. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food - must tries are the scallops with risotto, the Mac 'n cheese with Brussels sprouts, the lobster egg rolls and lamb sliders with... More
