For my first Po-boy I was pleasantly surprised. Root Beer glazed Po-boy was really good and drinking local brewed Root Beer made with cane sugar was an added treat. Enjoyed the meak and my visit to Magazine St.

e shared half a grilled shrimp fried green tomato po boy, Very good but pricey, have not eaten enough po boys to compare accurately.
On a recommendation we stopped here for our "last" Po boy of vacation. The staff were not all that friendly. Didn't "like" their jobs as I like to say. But the food was okay. The dirty fries were the best. We ordered green fried tomatoes that were served in wedges versus the traditional slices, so I didn't really like them....

Went straight here after checking into our hotel. (Emeril suggested it on TV.) Had a HUGE shrimp po'boy with more shrimp than we could eat! It was delicious. Fries and sodas were huge as well. Best part of it (2nd to the po'boy) was sitting on the porch. We just ate, talked, laughed, and lingered at a table on the...

If it's a po- boy u seek in the garden district, do not pass go and collect $200, go directly to Mahoney's. The "peacemaker" with oysters, bacon and cheddar should be illegal it is so good.
We enjoyed Mahony's. I had the fresh shrimp po-boy and my husband had the oyster/bacon/? po-boy. They were good but the people at the next table tried the roast beef and said it was the best they ever ate. If back in New Orleans will go back again and try it. Also the gravy fries were very good but the...

We really enjoyed our roast beef po-boy at Mahoney's. The staff is very nice and we ate outside on the porch. Cold root beer and great sides complimented the meal!
We dined here Mon, 4/22. Three of us ordered the shrimp po-boy, one ordered the roast beef. Also got a side order of fries and onion rings.
The roast beef was very good - if we all ordered that, our overall review would be 4 stars. However, the shrimp sandwich was SO bad - just awful. They did let us...

We have been going to New Orleans now for about 15 years. I consider myself almost a local. Every time we go we try something new. We wanted a casual lunch on Magazine St because I like to shop there. So glad we found this place!! We have tried the following and all have been excellent: fried shrimp Poboy, roast...

As a fan of all things DDD (diners, drive-ins and dives, for those that don't know) we had to check this place out. Located uptown, it's a short bus ride away from the French Quarter. We got there right as they opened and i was lucky enough to get the first po-boy of the day. I'm a glutton, so I...
