Delicious malts and shakes in a great atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Very friendly and attentive service.

Our former President, Harry Truman, worked in this Soda Fountain shop as a young boy. They had malt, milk shakes, soda, ice cream in cones and cups, phosphates of almost any flavor you desired and served from an old fashion soda counter. The deserts and drinks were great. The served everyone quick and our brief stay an enjoyable experience.

Had a very good espresso/bittersweet choclate chip milkshake there while contemplating that Harry & Bess (Truman) were customers. Love the front window sign with the Harry Truman quote. "Nothing better than cake than more cake."

More soda combinations than you can imagine and throws you back to small town camaderie and sitting on a stool sharing a drink with your sweetie.

An old time ice cream parlor. Huge sundaes and great malts. There is a variety of candy sold also, including Hammond's Candies - first time we've seen that outside of Denver. Great place to grab a treat.

I love coming here. Good ice cream in glass containers. I come here a least two to three times a month. I bring spouse, children and now grandchildren. Very historic place also.

Love their Hot Fudge Sundaes, haven't tried much else stick to my favorites. Everything else looks and sounds great but I know I love!! the Hot Fudge Sundaes!!!!!

This is a real soda fountain on the spot where Harry Truman worked as a young man. The sodas and malts are ok. Get a single cone - they're really good - and walk around the Square where Harry used to walk.
