Yes, they are the World's best! We arrived in Grand Marais after the time that they store was supposed to be close. We decided to check and they were still open! Granted they had a limited number of donuts left. At only .92 cents a piece, I thought they were a very good value for such a delicious treat!

World's Best is a bit overrated. Nothing special that we could determine, only the price was ridiculously high. But if you have a sweet tooth, I guess, you will pay the price.

I don't know about worlds best but they are pretty good. Hard to screw up donuts. Charming, friendly place. Always a line in the morning. I subtract a star because of the coffee. I would have subtracted three stars if rating only the coffee but perhaps it was a bad batch.

Well I would have to say they are awsome. Not alot to pick from like most bakerys but boy are they good. I give them 2 thumbs up.

World's best? I don't know, can't say I've sampled enough donuts to make that judgment! But they were very good! I would suggest going early in the day as it seems they sell out or have less of a variety later in the day.

Defiently worth a visit if you are in Grand Marais! Donuts are amazing! Just a little note...the restaurant itself is pretty small and gets very busy! Be there early or you'll be waiting outside.

Try the long John with bavarian cream and vanilla frosting or the bismark with banana cream. To die for! And such a great value!

I have eaten these donuts since the place opened, back when they only offered a couple kinds. Those kinds-plain, sugared and sugar-cinnamon are still my favorites.
