This restaurant is very chic with lots of atmosphere & terrific food, not cheap but high end food & excellent service. Worth a visit on a special occasion.
Had brunch and a few drinks at Dresslers. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you are inside the pace really opens up and has a great atmosphere. A relax and professional service with good advice in terms of paring cocktails with the dishes (lovely cocktails btw). I had the prime sirloin & eggs, a decent... More
The best option here are the appetizers. The octopus and scallops were amazing. The mains are quite pricey, and I was disappointed by the specials. The swordfish was a bit overcooked, while the porterhouse for two was an astounding $115! Needless to say, we were not told the price. To compound this, they added a 20% tip, as we were... More
Was really disappointed as my swordfish was way too salty, not really acceptable for a $35 plate. My friend's cod though was very good. The noise is amazing: you cannot really have a conversation. And yes they only have the now standard cocktail glasses and cannot serve a martini in a martini glass (I had asked). Service was quite attentive... More
I was here last night, food was good. Martini's served in very weird glasses. A bit strange for me, anyway it was recommended for a great romantic first date, my opinion is different. The place was extremely loud and we sat in between other people whose table was on top of ours, so the romantic part went out the window.... More
2nd trip and each one great. Value is excellent for fantastic foods from appetizer to desserts. This trip we had appetizers of ribs & scallops. Entrees included seafood, beef, pork, & chix, and everyone was VERY pleased. Best of all is the service. Very friendly & attentive.
Our daughter took us to Dressler for dinner on a visit to Williamsburg. The menu really has something for everyone. While the appetizers looked good, we decided to start with a small plate of BBQ pork ribs. They were very tasty, and the sauce on them made the dish. My wife got the sea bass, my daughter got the lamb... More
We had a good brunch at Dressler. The Bloody Mary's, made with Tito's Handmade Vodka were delicious. I had the Pecorino Fritatta, and my husband really enjoyed the Pepperoncini, Arugula & Goat Cheese Omelet. However, make sure if you have a reservation the hostess checks you in! We made a reservation via OpenTable, and despite my saying upon check-in, "Hi... More
The Dressler is a really great restaurant. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for in terms of food and service. All the servers are really friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the portions are correctly sized (always a feat in more upscale NYC restaurants). The atmosphere is perfect for a night out... busy and energetic, but... More
