I'm afraid I can't rate this as highly as I'd like to. Three of us went to breakfast here, one of the three only ordered coffee, and still the total bill (including tax and tip) was $45.20. No one ordered anything extravagant or over the top -- just two plates on the menu for two people (which were delicious but... More

Just love this beautifully restored orginal diner from 1920. It is very cosy to sit in there and the burger is so tasty! We also like the very friendly atmosphere in this authentic place! Simply a must if you stroll around Williamsburg ...

We loved this funky old dinner with a hip crowd and delicious food. Three of us shared celery root soup with hazelnuts and currants, black-eyed peas with winter squash, chiozo and a fried egg on top, sunchokes with cranberry beans, and beets with a modest chunks of halibut. and kale salad with buttermilk dressing. We couldn't agree about which dish... More

We ate in Williamsburg when in NYC last week and tried Diner based on the reviews. The burgers are excellent....maybe the best ever. We shared some appetizers...some were better than others. The risotto balss and roasted beet apps were great while the prawns were tiny, unpeeled but had a great sauce. Seating was very tight. 5 of us at a... More

This place is well worth a visit. Interesting menu and a great atmosphere. We had dinner on a Friday night and came back the following Sunday for brunch. If we're lucky enough to return to Brooklyn, we'll definitely pay another visit to Diner.

Although this restaurant looks like a diner, it is far from being one. The place looks like a shabby diner, but the food is certainly not diner food. The menu changes daily, they take no reservations and they packed which attests to the quality of the food. We had to wait for about 45 minutes on a Saturday night for... More

A shabby hide away with great food and service. The fact that the rain leaked through the roof made it even more charming. This place is about food. Good food.

We spent a lazy sunday morning in diner eating breakfast. The food was amazing and very different from the usual dull breakfast menus. The double-smoked bacon was honestly the tastiest piece of bacon that I've eaten in my 35 years on this planet. Just unbelievable. And worked perfectly with the ramps and yoghurt. I'm almost salivating as I type. Great... More

Easily one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn. Daily changing menu of fresh and locally sourced ingredients that are crafted into delicious and inventive dishes. Knowledgeable and unpretentious servers. Set it the unique and charming atmosphere of an old box car.
