Went here for lunch. Party of 6. Joked about that the included 20% tip for larger parties on the bill would mean not so prioritized service. This actually proved to be true. We had to wait a long time. However, when it arrived, we were given a free set of drinks and that gesture saved our impression. The food was... More

Cosy, atmospheric lighting, busy but not loud, real mix of clientele, friendly bar staff, locals happy to chat. We didn't eat but the menu looked good, plenty of people eating but we enjoyed a couple of drinks at the bar. Great place to while away an evening, small bar area with 6 or 7 stools.

Bar Tabac stood out to me immediately when I moved to this neighborhood and I would visit it often. Now, I have moved further down the F line but still appreciate the food, atmosphere, and decor. And, when I can, I will stop in for lunch or a Leffe and think of France.

I came here as I waited to check into my hotel. It is a very cool space. The staff was friendly. The food was good. Can't complain.

I've been here a few times because of the outdoor seating and I have a dog, but that was the highlight. The food is not very good, except the moules frites

Called in here for a beer and stayed to eat, as they had a great 3 piece band on. Good range of beers. Food was good value - had steak and frites. Firendly place. Chatted to few locals - who really like the place and recommended the sit down restaurant menu. Good atmosphere

So we dined here because it was the only place open. Certainly didn't look like a french restaurant or bistro...a dark bar at best. First, the very loud music was full of M-fing expletives and was literally disgusting, right out of the hood. The food was no better...fries were laden with grease and some burned. The waitress never checked on... More

We discovered this place last year when we ventured to Brooklyn. It's your typical french bistro atmosphere...except, there is a bartender there named Tamahl. He's a wonderful host, Ask the guy for a recomendation and he'll ask you what you like and he'll craft you and awesome libation, plus they're like $8 or $9 This will continue to be a... More
