Really cute bar/restaurant and great location. Unfortunately, we didn't love the food or drinks. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day.
We were attending a production of Julius Caesar at the nearby St. Ann's Warehouse Theater and wanted a bite beforehand somewhere close. We enjoyed the BLT and fresh mozzarella, Genoa, and zucchini pizza, and the waitstaff was very cognizant of our time constraints. A delightful find!
A hip restaurant just in the under-the-bridges neighborhood where we tasted the burger with a Old Saratoga IPA (local beer). The athmosphere and the beer were great - the burger ok.
The deal with Superfine is that the chef uses whatever ingredients are fresh that day for the specials, which are most often amazing. Meanwhile the regular menu is also excellent. Dinner prices are on the expensive side if you don’t include alcoholic beverages. Since I don’t imbibe, I can afford to dine at Superfine on the occasion. However, I’m not... More
Been coming here for drinks for over two years now. A really good friend met me at this bar and I have yet to get over it! I always come here for a good time, great drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere and live music. It is a little loud, but its lots of fun. Affordable drinks for those on a... More
We have never spent a lot of time in the DUMBO area, but this restaurant came up as one of six to try in the area, so we stopped in for a late lunch. Love this place and have been going for years. Everything is good pasta and steak are great. The wine list is fab and the service is like going to eat at an old friends house.
If you are going to a play in Dumbo or simply want to enjoy a relaxing meal, this is the place. Excellent service, attentive staff, delicious food (especially desserts). Relaxed atmosphere but comfortable and attractive, suitable for most any occasion.
The atmosphere is very fun. I DO like this place and frequent here often. If you're going for a fun, lively, not pretentious place to eat, this place is definitely good. If you're looking for great food, you're probably better off going to a slightly fancier place down the block, like Al Mar. They have a huge bar, plenty of... More
Great time with friends here. Live jazz music with a fun band. Family friendly, kids could sit at bar area and could play pool with parents yet cool space and trendy for couples. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Brooklyn.
