The bread here is pretty good for the area, which is not saying a lot. They are a nice bunch of people, though, and the closest place to get freshly baked bread to our home. Worth going/buying, but if the line is really long, I'd skip it.

This is one of the best bakeries I've ever been to in America. It's on par with the level of quality I experienced in France. They have a wonderful selections of breads, pastries and cookies, all cooked fresh on location. Everything that I've tried has been mouthwatering. The chocolate chunk cookie is especially of note. Apple tart is tasty, very interesting bread shop in brookline. Always lines of people in weekends
Everything here is fantastic and fresh. Best croissants (butter, chocolate) in the area. Chocolate pudding cake is amazing and incredibly rich.
We bought EVERYTHING! Baguettes, Italian bread, rolls, croissants with gruyere, apple tarts - and everything was amazing. Perfectly crusty, flaky, and fresh.
Delicious, fresh and there are always people waiting in line to taste the freshly baked bread
Driving by this bakery on Christmas eve, there was a long line of people waiting to get in.

walnut buns, scones, raisin bun, an...
