We went to this cozy, tiny tavern yesterday to celebrate mother's day. I wanted to try a new restaurant this weekend and of course, browse through the tripadvisor's list of best rated restaurants in Baltimore city which are more reasonably priced. This one definitely falls under that category. I read the reviews, looked at the photos, and watched the video... More

We asked everyone who had the best crabcakes in Baltimore. All responses were different and often conflicting. We went with the hotel bartender's recommendation and took the can ride from the convention center area to Canton and Annabel Lee's. We gave up our reserved table to sit at the lovely bar. PRAY they have the Brussels sprout appetizer when you... More

Very small pub, great local beers, the food was unique and delicious. Had the Mussels Nantucket for an appetizer - Wow - they were great and unlike anything I have ever had anywhere before. Crab cakes were very large and delicious. Service was good - It's a pub, not a restaurant. We got there just as they opened. If your... More

We wanted to find a Poe-themed pub and this place came well recommended. Experience started rough as we go there a few minutes before opening and they opened the door for us, then once we started to sit they started telling us to get out. They were so rude we were about to just go somewhere else, but the bartender... More

Annabel Lee is my favorite Tavern in the City. The food is always high quality and unique, something you don't expect at a Bar. Love the drinks, especially able to get Resurrection Beer on tap. The place is small, a cozy neighborhood bar, and there can be a wait. The staff is always attentive, has suggestions, and accommodating. Parking? Its... More

The tavern has a great idea for a theme, but upon entering you see that the Poe theme is actually mixed with a sports bar. Poetry lines above dartboards and sports memorabilia took away from the experience I thought we would have. The food is average only, with the highlight being our Poe themed drinks. Our server was fine, but... More

Our first time to this Tavern and a must-do in the future. It's very quaint, the ambiance pleasant, the staff exceptional, their drinks good and the food very good. Crab cakes were delicious as was the BBQ sandwich. Was was quite surprised with their selection of beers which happens to be excellent. We expected a possible parking problem but didn't... More

We are fortunate enough to live just a few blocks from Annabel's and come here at least twice/month, sometimes more! The staff is awesome there and food always delicious! Be prepared to wait on thurs-sat nights....but it's worth it! Sit at the bar if you can, great atmosphere! And the special are always awesome! Can't wait to get back there... More
