We tried the itty bitty little brisket slider...a two-bite affair, if you real take small bites. It was good, but at $7.50, it was $4.00 too much. Also, the Caprese salad was $12.00 and only average if not a bit below par. We asked two servers about the bread they serve with dinner, and neither was able to tell us... More

The Columbia River estuary sprawls out from the tall and expansive windows of the Bridgewater Bistro. It sits on the edge of a pier built on ancient pilings. The restaurant is at the west end of the River Walk and an easy walk from the Cannery Pier Hotel and Holiday Inn Express, and, for boaters, the West Mooring Basin. Now... More

Terrific variety of foods, small plates, salads and entrees. Lots of seafood options, but other choices for those not so inclined. Salmon special was one of the better I've ever had. Very attentive staff makes it an enjoyable night out. Even had a piano man playing softly in the background. Good for casual or dress up. Only reason for a... More

great atmosphere, view of the river and the food was wonderful. I would make a reservation and request the patio or a window on the main floor

The food was great, I definitely recommend it, especially the fries with gorgonzola cheese and bacon bits. However the staff didn't seem very interested. We saw a lot of people walking around like they were waiting for something to do.

The food was wonderful and the server was excellent! We're looking forward to returning! The menu had a nice variation of choices and the prices were very reasonable. The crab cheesecake is a must!

We have been patronizing this restaurant since it opened and were customers of its predecessor for 15 years or so. When we want to impress a friend we bring him (or her) to this place. Last month we brought our favorite head waiter from our favorite cruise ship hoping to impress him. He was very complimentary of his lunch though... More

View of the river was great. Food was very good. Helpful staff who prepared my wife's food with care due to her milk allergy. Pleasant & helpful server.

After dining on cruise ship cuisine for five weeks while traversing the Pacific from Auckland to Seattle on the MS Oosterdam's repositioning voyage, were we ever delighted by the surprisingly delectable menu at the Bridgewater Inn in fascinating Astoria, Oregon. We had driven south from Bremerton, WA earlier this particular cloudy day in May, entering Astoria in the late afternoon... More

The Bridgewater Bistro is very comfortable while presenting a more interesting menu and ambience than most of the Astoria eateries. The dining room has a full view of the Columbia River and an open interior. Our waitress was charming without being intrusive. We all had seafood. My salmon was excellent and they were generous with the oyster shooters.
