Very Enjoyable! Great friendly staff, sat outside! Happy hour specials all day!! We didn't order food, but all of it looked good coming out!
Very enjoyable, quiet so we could talk, was on a Sunday night so not as busy. Had Shepherds Pie - very good, tried Redd's Apple Ale, very good.
Enjoyed our meal here (Shepherd's Pie) and found the restaurant accessible, friendly, good service. On a Friday early evening there were lots of college students enjoying more than a meal. It's quite noisy, but a good place to eat.
It was a freindly bar where I can get a beer before em barking on the town...it was great the cabs drove right by the door...
Long story short, we came here to drink, and we did this, about 40 of us. The bartender knew this and allowed to rock out on the juke box all night long, sing, dance, and frankly act a little crazy. They had a good beer listing as well. Our service was just ok. We decided to come here because the Franklin Institute informed us of a 15%... More
Had a great hearty meal before catching the subway to a concert. Shepherd's pie was full of flavor, the traditional fish & chips were delicious, and the chicken thumbs huge pieces of moist chicken breast surrounded by crunchy goodness. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. A great find. Would have loved to spend a... More
Nice little pub. Quite traditional looking. Friendly staff and comfortable setting. Beer selection limited but had very nice stout called O'Hares. Didn't have food but the menu looked decent.
On Friday night the bar was packed full but there were plenty of booths in the back where it was quieter. We will go again the next time we're in Philly.
The name of this place captures it perfectly. Kind of a movie set sort of decor. All the junk you'd expect to see, but none of it seems authentic. Same with the food. Not especially fresh or interesting, but I suppose it served a purpose after we did some pub crawling. I'd put this one way down on the list... More
