We thought we would try this restaurant on the end of the pier. We were greeted as soon as we enter and escorted to a window seat. Service was mediocre and the food was not very good.
If there was a rating between average & very good, I'd choose that. We didn't hate our meal but "Very good" is a bit much. I enjoyed my clam chowder & salad special much more than my husband enjoyed his Asian Chicken Salad entree. My chowder was hot which scores points for me as so often restaurants don't serve hot... We stopped in on a sunny day a couple of weeks ago and I ordered the 'wild salmon' burger - This was a pre-formed patty, from a frozen food box you can buy at Safeway. Absolutely tasteless.... for $8 something. When I commented to the server, she said she would pass on the comments to the owner later...... Don't assume... More
From all the great reviews on here, we were expecting at least a decent meal and experience. What we got was poor service and below average food. We wanted to sit outside, but all they had were picnic tables which wouldn't have worked with our booster seat for our toddler. No big deal, inside was fine. It was a late... More
We enjoyed the outdoor seating on a very nice sunny day. My order of mussels was abundant and delicious, but obviously missing the "crusty bread" that I thought I had remembered from the menu. When I inquired of our waiter, who had seemed awkward from the start, he replied in a snappy way that bread did not come with the... More
The food was delicious, salad greens very fresh. You had a choice of Thai food or American style food. This cafe is located inside but you can also sit outside on the pier dock. Prices are reasonable and staff was friendly.
This wonderful eatery has a variety of menu items to please everyone. There are American menu items for the kids as well as menu items for the more worldly taste buds. My friend and I selected meals from the Thai menu as we love Thai food. The food was outstanding!!!! The service was fast and the staff was so friendly.... More
Enjoyed lunch here, sitting outside on the dock watching a sailboat race. The Asian style food was good, decent sized portions, reasonable price, and prompt service. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Would eat here again.
If you're looking for something for everyone then this is your place. There are your standard American Beach fare as well as a variety of SE Asian dishes. Service is good and the food was great. The atmosphere of being on the end of the pier is awesome too. We eat here every time we visit coupeville.
Kim's has a wonderful location at the end of the big dock in Coupeville, surrounded by water with lovely views of the town and the islands. You might expect a restaurant in that location to be overpriced and low quality, but you would be very wrong. The food is really tasty and varied - our daughter had a corn dog,... More
