We've been coming here for decades, and it remains one of the best dining options in the Mammoth Lakes area. While it is a short drive down 395, it is certainly worth the trip. The service and food are both great. There is also the chance of spotting some wildlife on the drive up to the restaurant.

I love this restaurant's location and atmosphere -- hard to beat. It has good food, but it is truly nothing exceptional. Osso bucco is better at other restaurants and the escargot is too dry. However, it is good, just not exceptional at all.

I've dined at the finest in NYC, Chicago, LA...and this still ranks #1 with me. Food is consistently very good, decor is welcoming (love the fireplace room), service is respectable, and environs are most spectacular.
