Pretty dining room and affordable cocktails. The service as quick (we had theatre tickets) and the sea bass was as good as any I have had. Also appreciated the lower carb dessert selection.

We were sad, sad when we heard the Villa had shut its doors so I started looking for a locally owned and operated Italian restaurant. This is it. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, safe and plenty of parking and the food is excellent!

We wanted a quiet dinner close to our hotel on South Broadway. Despite the desk clerk's recommendation that we go 12 blocks away to find a restaurant, we stumbled on Ciao, tucked away on 7th Street just off South Broadway. A happy stumble. The Fettucine Alfredo was a bit different from the usual, but very good. The linguine with tomato... More

Visited Ciao with a fairly large group of my colleagues for dinner after a conference. The service was ridiculously slow and the food was only marginal. It took over 2 hours before we were served our food. Then as they served us practically one at a time many in our party were finished with their meal before I even received... More

Pasta was cooked perfectly with lots of chicken and shrimp on my pesto sauce. Fresh rolls served hot as you wanted them. Instead of small bottles of imported sparkling water they served huge glasses of seltzer water with lots of fresh lemon slices. Only dislike my husband and I had was the spices they used in the sauces we had... More

I guess it's the impossible dream. A little neighborhood restaurant that's been around forever and the chef cooks better than Lidia Bastainich or Mario Batali. We hear about a place like this and hope it's the one. Ciao is not it. Not even close. Shrimp Scampi were swimming in garlic and oil. If they were alive, they'd be doing the... More

Wonderful food, consistently cooked to perfection. Attentive service without unctuous hovering or pretentions. By far and away, a delightful dining experience for ANYONE that appreciates fine Italian fare.!
