We went to NYC for St. Patrick's Day weekend and chose Harrington's because the Vamoose bus to DC stopped outside it. They just kept bringing on the great Irish food and drinks until our bus come. Friendly staff, Irish music, authentic Irish food. . . it was a perfect day. Senka was our waitress and she checked on us repeatedly....

Harrington's is an English Pub style restaurant just steps from Penn Station and Madison Square Gardens. We arrived at our hotel on a Saturday evening and this was the first restaurant we saw. The food was reasonably priced and the service was good. I had Shepard's Pie and my friend had the Fish n Chips - both were generous portions...

After a hard morning shopping in Macy's I choose this lovely bar for a bit of early lunch. Had only planned on having a light sandwich. This ended up being a great meal. Good food and service in a popular location close to Madison Square Garden. Busy when there is something going on at the Square, but generally easy to get a table. Your usual pub style food and atmosphere.
As a single businessman at dinner hour, I had little choice at Harrington's but a small table in the bar. Harrington's is a typical Irish restaurant featuring Shepherd's Pie, etc. Food was reasonably good, but the noise was nearly deafening. I ate and ran.
We did go in here to try and get a certain cocktail, but they didn't do it. But we had a lovely meal, vast amount, struggled to eat it all, portion control I feel. The beer I had was good. Waitress service a little weird, nothing specific but just odd. Not sure I would go back.
