The ribeye has always been excellent and the sides are always how you'd like them to turn out. The downtown San Diego location is very scenic, but make sure you have reservations especially on weekends and restaurant week.

I had dinner here and had the 16 oz bone in filet. One of the best steaks I've had. And being from Texas I know steak. Service was impeccable and the sunset view of the harbor was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Went here for a nice dinner out and it was better than we ever imagined. The steak was melt in your mouth steak and the mashed potatoes were so good!! The creme brulee was so yummy too!

Likes - Everything. You will not find a better steak with garlic mash and a cheese cake dessert make it impossible to do much more walking that night. A MUST VISIT

Trying to find parking was a bear, after we parked 2 blocks away and walked to the restaurant we noticed they offered valet parking. There are no signs indicating valet parking from the street, Ruth’s Chris is located on the Wyndham Hotel site.

Great friendly service and wonderful food. The last two Ruth's Chris steak houses that we have eaten at [in Hong Kong & San Francisco] have been a dissappointment but San Diego restored our faith in the chain. The steaks were out of this world. And you get a nice view over the waterfront as a bonus.

Now that was a steak. Nothing compares!!! Fantastic Service, everthing was first cabin, even the water, ha ha. The Tenderloin was perfection, after one bite i kinda just starred at it for awhile wondering how something could taste so good. enjoy
