Fun reasonable awesome Little loud but part of the fun. I would sit at the bar the next time. The kitchen is open and you can see people working. The server was very informative. We had 5 plates for the 2 of us. 2 glasses of wine it was 70 dollars. I give it a 9 out of 10. I... More

By now Curate has developed a reputation as one of Asheville's leading restaurants -- and deservedly so. The tapas offerings are varied, tasty, creative, and beautifully prepared and served. About three dishes per person and a shared dessert make a memorable meal. This place is so popular that it is near impossible to get in on a Thursday, Friday, or... More

We had visitors from Sweden and Germany. They absolutely loved Curate. Our server was patient and accommodating. We ordered a variety of foods to appeal to the meat or veggie lovers in our group.

I know how amazing the restaurants are in NYC so we wanted the pick just the right restaurant. We were not disappointed. The menu was a little intimidating as I could pronounce alot of it. I wasn't even quiet sure what we ordered but when it came it was amazing - every morsel.

Spent a lot of money at Curate for my first ever Tapas experience - with NO regrets! The lamb skewers (lamb marinated in moorish spices) was possibly the best thing I've ever eaten. If you're on vacation and not concerned too much about money, this is one restaurant you'll want to try!

We had lunch at Curate when we were in Asheville, and we were very impressed. Our waiter was knowledgeable and steered us in all the right directions. The food was delicious and interesting without being pretentious. In particular, the raw mountain trout and the "Cerdo iberico" really stood out. We had the fried eggplant as a dessert (it was a... We stopped at Curate for lunch upon arriving into Asheville. While the food was good, the portions were EXCEPTIONALLY small for the prices charged. For example, we ordered the sampling of cured hams ($16) which totaled around 1 oz. They were good, but came with no crackers, bread or anything to eat them with. We asked for bread, and got... More

Had read some reviews and manager of place I am staying at in Asheville recommended, too. I just happened to find it while checking out downtown Asheville. (Lots of fun, btw.) Since I was alone, I was seated at a small table by the window which was fine. Server (Brian??) was outstanding. Left it to him to recommend items and... More

Excellent restaurant, excellent menu, excellent staff. Only negative is trying to get a reservation at the best dining in Asheville. Fortunately you can access the bar which is on a first come first served basis. This saved my bacon as I had been told the success of our weekend trip depended on a meal at Curate and I was unable... Returning for our third and 4th visit. We would have been really happy if the quality standards had been as good as when we first went ( twice). Surprisingly, it was even better. On the first night we sat at the bar and were served by Jessica. Now that girl is amazing and I mean amazing. She has been there... More
