A bit on the bland side. If you you like spicy / hot this may not be your best choice, athough the hot & sour soup was really good.

We were tired and Hungary and the selection was good. As usual in Chinese restaurants you get enough to eat. We tried two different entrees and they were good. They seem to do a lot of take out business

The House of China has been a fixture in Gunnison for many years and I've been going there for Chinese food almost as long as they have been here. The food is great and the staff friendly and helpful. The amount of food is awesome so you can either share it with someone or take some home for another evening.

Have eaten here in the past and the food is average in taste and quality. Lots of food for lunch for $6.00. Not alot of choices in Gunnison for decent restaurants. Might eat here again.

Everything about the House of China was very good. The restaurant was clean and inviting. There was no buffet which is a plus in my opinion. The food was hot and cooked to order. From the outside this restraunt looks very unimpressive. Inside though you are greeted by great food at a good price. The food is well prepared and very tasty especially the fried dumplings are impeccable. Also if you are looking for an adventurous drink, try the Akou Bowl.
