I love the food! Pleasantly surprised by the portions and great taste. We visit Salsas weekly and really enjoy the evenings they have someone playing guitar.
This small Mexican restaurant is on the west side of Greeneville. They are very good cooks and have a salsa bar on site. Occasionally they have musicians entertain. Dine in or carry out.
My wife & I ate at Salsas upon the recommendation of Pam Sadler at the Nolichuckey Bed & Breakfast in Greeneville and we were not disappointed! The chips were served warm (along with an excellent salsa bar), the food was excellent (especially the quesadillas!) and the atmosphere very subdued. Salsas is definitely a notch above the typical "authentic" Mexican restaurant.
If we want Mexican while now town, we come to Salsas. I appreciate the restaurant isn't filled with your typical decor of neon signs and beer ads, but have noticed the walls starting to fill up with decor over the past few years. I never get tired of coming here. I love the food! The chips are always warm and fresh and the entrees just taste better!
I ordered a Taco salad little did I know I was getting a soup!! The rice tasted spoiled and stuck together like a rice patty. The bean dip is soupy as well. The food does NOT taste authentic and did not satisfy me. I WILL NEVER go back!
We first found out about this restaurant through a review out of an Elizabethton paper so we decided to try it out. They have warm chips and bean dip, then a salsa bar of all kinds of salsas from mild to hot. They are great!!! The food is fresh and delicious. The service is fast and friendly always. We would... The food is fresh, its clean, and the food is great !! Service is fast and friendly, lots of food for the money, highly recommend this restaurant above all other Mexican restaurants in town.
I usually eat at Salsas 1-2 times a week for lunch and at least once a week for supper and it is by far the best Mexican food in town. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Awesome fajitas, nachos, arroz con pollo, tacos, and the list goes on. You can't go wrong at Salsas.
This new restaurant is a must visit! When we sat down, we were given the usual chips, but then a bowl of warm bean dip. Being my first visit, I asked about the salsa. The extremely nice waitress said they have a salsa bar, so up I went to check it out. At least a DOZEN different salsas to choose... More
