We had a great lunch in minimal time. Clean fresh food, fast service. My husband loves their Mongolian Lamb and I love their chicken and vegetable meals. Brown rice available on request.

This was rec'd as one of the best chinese places in the city by a savvy, hip, foodie professional peer of mine. It's a place she has gone to for years, and took us there after a long meeting. So maybe it was the long meeting.... or maybe it was that it came recommended so highly... but It only made... More

An ex-San fRanciscan friend of ine insists on lunching here when she returns each year, and introduced me to this gem. Quiet, spare but very pleasant , upscale atmosphere, with excellent choice of main dishes for a surprisingly low price. ($14.00 for the two of us!- How often are you surprised by how low the bill is!) I think this... More

If you are looking for Hunan and Mandarin fare with a slight California accent, you should definitely check out Eliza's. Every dish is delicate and flavoful -- a true delight. The service is wonderful too.

Try the Hunan Fish, the Eggplant with Shrimp and the Steak dish offered at dinner time. The ambience is lacking and it's cold in there, but the food is delicious. Yes, the wait staff hurries you, reaches over you to fill up water, removes plates faster than you'd like, but if you are waiting for a table, you appreciate the... More

Fresh interesting and very tasty chinese food. Yes it is a bit Americanised but so what. The flavours were good and destinct and the ingredient fresh and plenty of everything for the price. The eggplant dish was outstanding, nearly enough for 5 blobs on its own! Decor is very harsh but interesting at the same time, you wont be looking... More

Not sure why there are such negative reviews. This place is delicious, great quality for the price (which is cheap) and light. It's not truly authentic like many other San Francisco establishments but it's not trying to be. It's just trying to be awesome. Which it is. Try the mango beef. So good.

Decent food is undercut by rushed service and cold, clattery decor. We called at 8:00 on a Sunday to make sure they were open. They said yes, so we went. Normally, we don't really care about service and ambience as much as the food, but this was ridiculous. My face was nearly smacked by the hurried waitress urgently pouring water... More
