Located on the famous Lombard Street, only 8 blocks from the "crooked street area", this eatery is small, romantic, situated above the street. Although expensive, the value is there. Great wine list, great wait staff and the finest steak in San Francisco. The vegetables are served fresh with a crunch that proves fine preparation. Try the brussel sprouts and you... More

While staying in SF recently on a business trip my business partner and I were in the mood for a really good steak but didn't want to go that far from the hotel. I asked a staff person at the hotel where locals would go for a good steak, and I didn't want a chain restaurant. He told me Bobo's.... More

Bobo's bone-in filet is without question the number one food item I have put in my mouth, this lifetime. I've had this experience before, and it was coincidentally a short 45-minute drive from Bobo's. The Los Gatos Brewing Company burger had reigned supreme on my taste buds' collective memory since 2005, when I had my first of 9 burgers there... More

This restaraunt focuses on Steak and Crab, so if you aren't interested in one of those, I'd suggest another location. I ordered the Petite Filet and it was cooked perfectly. We had the twice baked potato, cauliflower and mushrooms for a side and they were all really great.

Interesting place to bring a date or a bunch of friends that want to spend some money. Eclectic decor with wall hangings and harlequins. Bread very tasty, mussels on a skillet were plump and delicious. The steaks were average, despite being the "famous food" of the restaurant. One steak arrived cold. Flavor was lacking. Service was excellent, but the disappointing... More

It was my first experience with this steakhouse. The exterior wasn't too impressive but the interior will just basically blow your mind. It was like getting lost in a mirrored room full of circus painting and decors. The wall is crimson red with low orange down-light just enough to create an amazing atmosphere, and get you ready for the excellent... More

It was our first experience of crab, which we thought was mediocre, but not necessarily the fault of the restaurant. But by the time you add on sides, this ends up a very expensive choice. Our main gripe was the service, or lack of it. It was quite evident that unless you were locals, you were treated as second class... More

We had the honor to dine at this great restaurant. It was the best steak both of us ever had in our life time, not to mention the superb service.

The Crab and The Steak - awesome location, intimate and dark. The bone in NY was cooked very well, with sides of brussel sprouts with pancettta and chard. The dirty martinis are balanced and exactly the right temperature. Service was a little inattentive, but we were a large walk in group, so can be forgiven
