This was a special find! The food was absolutely delicious! The varied in friendliness levels, but overall we really enjoyed this restaurant and would love to return to hopefully try one of the limited margherita pizzas!

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, went to Tonys while in Little Italy. Got there at the right time and were promptly seated. We ordered the margherita pizza, which is a thin crust. Seems like they use high quality ingredients because it comes out in the taste. Very good flavor with just the right amount of oregano. I would go back again.
We expected to have to wait for Tony's. Pretty much every review on trip advisor mentions one. We rolled up at about 7.30 and it was due to be 1hr20 for a table. No problem. I was prepared to wait. An offer to take a mobile number was made but I declined as it is a UK number. The host...

We didn't know pizza could be this good. While the pizza is a little pricey it is unbelievable. It was fantastic to be able to order different type of pizzas and different styles. Very Very crowded. We saw a crowd waiting and pt or name in. If this place takes reservations make one so you wont have to wait.
When my friend told me we were going to wait an hour and 45 minutes to get pizza I hated him a little... but it really was worth it. We had the chorizo mussels to start and they could put that sauce on cardboard and it would be amazing. It was one of the best things I've had to eat...

I had heard that Tony's Pizza Napoletana had THE BEST pizza in San Francisco, but I was a bit skeptical. However, after having tried it, I must agree. Tony's has THE BEST pizza in SF!
We arrived at noon (when they opened) and did not have to wait. We ordered their Meatball Gigante for an appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!...

I went to Tony's on a friend's recommendation. We were unable to make reservations prior to, however, the 1 hour and 45 min wait was well worth it. We hit up a bar while we waited. After we were seated everything was beyond expectations. We ordered a few pizzas and some family style Italian plates to share. Plus, some phenomenal...

This place is very popular. We put our name in and were seated outside, on a beautiful night in San Francisco. I think the satisfaction people have is based on which food they choose. There are so many kinds of pizza, cooked in different ovens at different temperatures. It was wonderful...
There is a definite reason why there are lines around this place.
We went on a Thursday with a large party. Thank goodness their was a volunteer to go early and put our name in for a table. That cut our wait to a mere 45 minutes. Bearable for good food.
We had three different type salads. Caprese , Ceaser,...

Our concierge told us this was the best pizza place in San Francisco, but I preferred the pizza at Sodini's on Green street. I went in expecting to taste one of the best pizzas in San Francisco. However, I came out disappointed - I didn't LOVE the pizza. It was just okay. I much prefer the nearby Sodini's. The Tony's...
