We visited Gennaro's Eatery recently and had a fabulous meal. The food is all fresh and tastes like home made. Very generous portions at a very reasonable price.
My wife and I were excited to try this place after seeing a lot of good reviews. I now wonder if those folks were close friends with the owner or had worked there because this place was overrated. We waited for about 30 minutes--not atypical for a Friday night, but we weren't offered any drinks or appetizers while we waited... More
I got the cheese ravioli with meatballs and I was very disappointed. There was barely any cheese in the raviolis and the meatballs were plain. I took one bite of the meatballs and that was it. We eat almost weekly at Gennaro's, and have never been disappointed. They have a very simple formula - good food, in good portions, at good prices. And it's served by a friendly, helpful staff. What else is there??
The best Italian food in Quincy. The Pumpkin Ravioli is the best dish, but there are also a variety of other great choices. It's so hard to choose, but everything is great with a little Italian wine!

The food is consistently delicious with a choice of large portions (that you can share for... More
