Went to dinner here with another couple. We were seated immediately on the front lanai. Not really much of a view. However everything else about the evening was excellent. Nice wine list although my wife and I ordered by the glass (she prefers white, I prefer red). The other couple orders a half bottle. We all orderd fish. Three of...

We won't be back. Food did not taste right. I had lamb and it had a weird taste/odor. Gerard was not working that night. Lahaina Grill is the call for the next trip. Too bad, we liked it the first time.
Excellent food and great service. In plantation house one block from the beach. Food impeccably prepared and presented with a continental flair.
Our porch table at sunset was lovely. Our waiter, Eric, was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and friendly. Our courses were well paced. The food was well executed, very flavorable but not overpowering. The signature Hawaiian snapper was delicious and my husband really enjoyed the rhubarb cobbler with incredible ginger ice cream. Gerard himself came out to greet every guest...

I was half afraid to dine at Gerard’s based on the number of less than good reviews; however, my experience supports the fact that everyone’s taste buds are different. Our experience was delightful from the Boudin Noir (Black pudding through the assortment of sorbet and fruit. We had never had the Black Pudding, so it was a must. More a...

Let's face it. Most places you eat at on vacation would fail miserably in the big city. Too expensive and mediocre to lousy food. They play on your defenses being down and the weather washing away your anger. Gerard's would make the cut, anywhere.
Celebrating their 20th year in business, one visit is enough to know why. They service, the...

Gerald's is a nice experience and the menu is varied and will not disappoint. It's not as "foodie" as Meriman's or I'O but a good meal. Wife wife made a meal of three soups which were all good. The French onion soup is baked fresh s takes 30 minutes to prepare but it's worth the wait. The Duck was very...

Best experience on the island and we have dined in some of the great restaurants all over the world. Excellent wine list including our favorite Rombauer Chardonnay ($90) and nice cocktail menu. We started with the Escargot Forestière and Seared Foie Gras Medallions. Amazing. The french onion soup is hands down the best I have ever had, anywhere. I opted...

Gerard's Is located in an old house in Lahaina. The setting alone makes it worth a visit. We were seated on the front porch on a perfect March evening. Phil, our waiter, was great throughout. Our party of four had appetizers and a variety of main courses. Everyone enjoyed their food (including some picky eaters). Dessert menu was also extensive....
