It was pricey and the drinks were weak, but the food was tasty. The prices didn't fit the atmosphere.

We came in around 5pm for happy hour, and it took our waitress over 20 minutes to get to us. Once she did, the drinks were strong (nice!) and the nachos were awesome. Great prices, good atmosphere, but the service staff was seated way too fast hence the slowness of service. Might need to add more staff to the ratio...

Many locals recommended this bar/restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. Great food, great happy hour, nice, fun environment. Finally some food that wasn't so overpriced!
Having been to Kauai several times, I wish we found this place sooner! It was a refreshing change of pace from the tourist traps on Poipu. Happy hour was excellent, great service, and most refreshing...the prices. Loved the open air atmosphere and the general vibe. The food wasn't top notch by any means, but if you are looking for a...

We have been to several recommended restraunts from Tropical Burgers to the Tidepools at the Hyatt and hands down, Kalapaki Joe's has the best Mai Tai ever! Happy hour price is only $5.00 and regular price $7-$8.00 for a full pint glass. Food is good at a good price. Open air and sports bar atmosphere. Sometimes understaffed but great over...

Open air, extensive menu with bar food or dinners. Large quantities and good service. We went at lunch and they could handle a large group easily.
We ate here twice when we were in this area. The first time was after arriving late and because this area doesn't have tons of restaurants and very few places to eat late we took a chance and stopped. This is a sports pub and serves pub food. That said, they have a good selection of items and the salad...

The staff was friendly but were overextended. Food quality was very low. Spoiled tomatoes on both salad and sandwich. We won't be going back!
It wasn't the best. It's more like what you'd get at a chain restaurant like Chili's, but it was still very reasonably priced I felt. We went during happy hour after initially eating there (I had a pork cobb salad, yum!), and we got a ton of food for really cheap comparatively! We could have ordered less and we'd have...

We went for the Happy hour and they had a huge menu to choose from. 25 cent wings and $3 fish tacos were a great start. Yes this place is not high end, but for those travelling on a budget, or just like good old bar food, this place definitely met those expectations.
