Whether Kaua'i, Oahu or even on the mainland Duke's and its chain of restaurants have a great selection and a good price. I would suggest getting reservations and asking for a table on the deck overlooking the ocean. The salad bar is very overrated though. Check it out for yourself before purchasing it.

This was, by far, our favorite restaurant in the area. The seafood was excellent. The salad bar had a lot of unique items to try. Definitely save room for the hula pie. Its big enough to share (and then some!). Great service, great atmosphere!

We have done dinner, happy hours and just stopped by for a snack. Always top notch. Taco Tuesdays tend to get packed, so show up early.

Good selection of food from appetizers to full meal. Stopped for drinks and nachos. Reasonable price for Hawaii. Sit by front rail for view of water.

Ate here on our last visit. And this is the second time on this trip. The Cesar salad is excellent and compared to the food in the hotel. This is well worth the price. Suggest you make reservations on the rail or lanai

Great views and food. Fun environment. Drinks are great and the hula pies are awesome. Great to visit when staying at local Marriott's.

My wife and I ate here for her birthday. The food was good, and prices were as expected. This place is always packed especially when they have the live music, I recommend reservations so you can get a seat in the upstairs dining room and get a great view. Don't forget to order the Hula Pie, this is just the... More

Good parts: the interior design is excellent (good for photos) as well as the ocean views. Probably not the worst choice if you are at the adjacent beach or staying at the Marriott. Our server was very friendly. Bad: Food was sloooow (over an hour) to come out. Severe portion control on appetizers and entrees. They clearly expect you to... More

There is something about the atmosphere at Duke's that makes you feel like you are living the Hawaii experience. Perhaps it is the open air Hawaiian style of the layout, or the historical photos of Duke and the surfers with 10 ft boards, or the mesmerizing ocean and beach looking out from your table. Whatever it is we always try... More

When we are in Lihue, and want a good meal we can always count on Dukes Barefoot bar. First off, the location is downright beautiful. A little breeze from the bay, palm trees, music and a cold draft, what’s not to like? The fish and chips are always right on. Nice light breading, good flavor and a reasonable amount. We... More
