We had made reservations a few days before our 40th wedding anniversary at Lava Lava beach Club, assuring that " we will save a very special table for your special day!" Wow, how nice was that??? NOT!! After being seated next to a large family with infants, we asked if we could move one table back. The manager (we assume)... More

Go here for the sunset. The food is okay but overpriced. They have tables & chairs in front of the restaurant for sunset viewing. Have a drink and an appetizer would be my suggestion. Bring a camera!

It's great fun to sit out on their comfortable lounge chairs having drinks and appetizers. When it started to rain, they gave us a table inside, which was comfortable. Have eaten there a few times and am impressed with the service and the simple, but good food.

The setting is like out of a movie--turquoise water, palm and kiawe trees, sand under your feet--what a joy! The food is tasty, fresh, and well-served. The wait staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful!

Parking sucks, food is poor, food over priced, dinner menu sucks. Not enough light to read menu and can't even see what your eatting. I will never go there again. Stay away and save your money. You are better off going some where else and get way better food and service and get better price for what your getting.

I'm really surprised to see all the positive reviews because this is one place that we were most disappointed in out of our whole 2 week visit to the BI. I think people are really mesmerized by the location and the view (which I admit, is spectacular and the biggest positive of our whole experience) but a restaurant surely cannot... More

We were staying at the nearby Marriott and walked down the beach to here a couple times. Great food, drinks, bartenders, wait staff and live music. Absolutely terrific location - a must visit during a Kona sunset!
