The place feels like an Irish pub top to bottom, I wanted to call friends and order drinks. My shepherds pie we great, my wife's steak was a little tough but very tasty. Even though we were full, we had to one of the desserts, awesome. We are hoping to return in summer to try the outdoor seating.

Positives: they took reservations and there was ample street parking in the area. We were seated immediately, and the server showed up promptly to take our drink order, despite the fact that the place was packed on a Saturday night. Drinks were served quickly, and our entrees were served in a very reasonable amount of time. My Shepherds Pie was... More

Had appetizers and drinks here. Both were very good. Servers were fast, friendly and fun! Decor inside is very unique. Would recommend this place for sure. It's just past the busy area of Water street, a great location. Will go here again soon.

We went for brunch. We tried the corned beef hash, the biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict. All the food was very good. The gave us complimentary Irish soda bread which was tasty, and the meals were nice sized and well prepared. The outside patio was a surprise, we had been there before and never sat outside. It's lovely, it's... More

Friends and I had an early dinner here. It's your typical Irish Pub with traditional Irish fare. The restaurant was not crowded at all when we arrived. Our waiter was just so-so...he was also manning the bar. The food was good...nothing spectacular, but good.

We first found this restaurant a couple of years ago while looking for a good lunch spot in Milwaukee. It does not look like much from the outside but it is a nice, well decorated, clean and pleasant restaurant. Our second visit we were looking for dinner. We were a party of three and we had Sheperds Pie, corned beef... More

Fish and chips at Brocach are delicious. At least 3 out of 4 times it was my favorite in the city. One time it was off... maybe just a bad night in the kitchen.

When we first visited Brocach, I was stunned by the transformation it had made from the old Five and Ten tap of my youth. Gone was the small grill next to the bar and old Schlitz and Pabst signs that dominated the decor. Instead was a charming Irish Pub featuring all the beauriful woodwork and stunning views across the Milwaukee... More

I had a milestone birthday party at this bar. There is no fee to reserve the upstairs bar and outside patios. There is no minimum purchase for food and beverage on a Saturday, which is what day my party was. The entire planning process went smoothly. My main fear was that nobody would know what was going on when we... More

We just returned from yet another wonderful trip to Brocach on Water Street. So many pubs serve food and it is often nothing special. This beautiful Irish pub has wonderful food, many different beers and enough ambiance to let you think you just might be in Ireland. During this vist we ordered the Ploughman's Plate as an appetizer for two-it... More
