Wild Sage is our go-to restaurant when we feel like having a special dinner together and treat our taste buds. We have eaten there several times over the past two years. Everything we have ever tried has been fantastic, although I confess that while I sample various desserts, appetizers and salads, I am stuck on their fabulous duck entree. I... More

Stopped by when i was in town with business with a co-worker who lives in the area. Had reservations at 6:30 and got in with no problems, but i heard other nights may be more difficult. I ordered the calf liver. Maybe only a place that can survive making something like that is a place that makes it very well,... More

We were visting Spokane from the Seattle area and wanted to go to someplace special for dinner on a Sunday evening. We called at 5:15, hoping that we could go for an early dinner. Only because someone had cancelled, they told us we could come at 6:30. (Otherwise we would have been out of luck.) After eating there, it looks... More

We were told that in this restaurant the food is very fine but the portions are small like a fancy restaurant. I' ll say that portions are just in the average, and with an appetizer and a main it will be more than enough. We were two people and ordered salmon and trout. Well my salmon was excellent and both... More

We were a party of seven women. I had called a week earlier. They were very booked up but managed to reserve us a table for 8:15. The service was fine, it was the food that was the problem. One of the ladies ordered the special which was a beef dish. We all tried a bite from her plate and... More

Well I'm disappointed too! I do have to stop and thank you for your thoughtful review. As you have mentioned, we are a highly rated restaurant in Spokane. When we received two "less then glowing" reviews back to back naming the same items it was cause for action. We have learned to take the good with the bad, and know... More

Not my first visit, and previous stops here were good enough to bring me back again. A late dinner on a week night may have been why the restaurant was nearly empty. Good cocktails. Attentive, informal but well schooled wait staff. Spring asparagus salad was terrific. Very lean Prosciutto wrapped around three or four spears and roasted, then tossed with... More

By far the most intriquing restaurant I have eaten in a long time. The appetizer, the Taquitos were so good my husband and I each ate two. The duck was cooked to perfection after a detailed discussion about it with our server, who was also the owner. He helped us choose the perfect wine, served delicious popovers and to top... More

Woo frickety hoo..the pop overs with lavender and honey butter is worth the price of admission! My waiter was attentive with a great personality. I had the special which was fish on top of potatoes, the fish was cooked perfectly and had a crispy skin but they ruined it by putting salad on top of it and the skin became... More

Excellent place to eat in downtown Spokane. The duck was amazing and with such an extensive GF menu I was very impressed. Would recommend to anyone. Prices aren't cheap but it's worth it. Shout out to Steve, who was an excellent server.

The menu had so many new items and preparations since our last visit, that we had a hard time choosing from the many great options. Our dinner reminded us that this remains in the top 3 on our list of local restaurants for a dinner for enjoying a fine meal. The menu is unique by Spokane standards, with lovely offerings... More
