After attending a wedding nearby, guests gathered in small groups of 3 and 4 at the Diamond Knot as other nearby watering holes began closing. Arriving at different times (not a large mass group arrival) we sat In the restaurant section as the bar area was full. Later, as people began to leave they were told by servers the Entire... More

I know it depends on the time you're at a place sometimes. We happened to hit Diamond Knot on a very slow Thursday morning, pre-season, with no one in the place on the non-bar side. Staff was busy stocking, but we had very good one-on-one service, offering great description of items. Had to have the Chicken Fried Meatloaf and Cheesy... More

As a fan of their beer I thought I would give the newly remodeled Alehouse a try for breakfast. Brought the whole family with me on a Saturday morning. It was busy so we had to wait but that was okay. After we were seated we were given menus. That was the last we saw of the wait staff. 5... More

This was recommended by friends who raved about it. Well, we would not recommend it to our friends. My husband had the Reuben, and I ordered the "Beans Steak Bowl" = chili. There are at least two restaurants close by who serve a much better Reuben; the chili was ok, albeit hot (spicy). The coffee was, well, it must have... More

What a neat place. Boisterous in late afternoon when the ferry's are loading, the staff is friendly, the featured beers are all their own, and for a real treat try the meals served-up on platters containing pre-heated stones allowing you to self-cook your meal to perfection right at your table.

First of all the bar area was extremely unclean. Be aware not to slip on the greasy slippery floor which is covered with peanut shells and peanut dust. Never wear a nice pair of leather sole shoes if you go there. I ordered the Diamond Knot Blond but it was almost tasteless, stale and it was not even cold.I told... More

This place has the best thin crust pizza I have ever eaten. Bar service was very friendly and playful. Great brewery beers. Also the first eatery I have ever been to where you can cook your own steak at your table.

This was the first time I've had to grill my own meat at a restaurant... the meat is served raw on a hot stone, all you have to do is cut of a piece and grill to your taste. It is a great experience, though probably not such a good idea for kids. We all enjoyed the high quality of... More

Not only is the beer great here - Industrial IPA is my choice - but the menu is way superior to the typical pub. Start with the chowder or the steak chili and go from there. Best be hungry; the main portions are truly large, but very well cooked and presented. The staff are very friendly and more than willing... More

Grill your meat at your table (its fun) Have the hard cider & bring lots of people (beer is cheaper by the pitcher).
