They are cash only, so make sure you bring some! They are quick to point out the atm in the back. Made my egg breakfast sandwich in the microwave and my fiances devil dog was "just a cold doughnut" from the guy who like everything. It was rated the number one restaurant for thus town but I wouldn't come back.

So many donuts, so little time! Anyone who goes to Long Beach has to go to the Cottage Bakery! The buttermilk glazed are my favorite, Good coffee too.

I go to long beach several times to visit friends who live there and every time I always go to cottage bakery and I get the same thing every time. The buttermilk bar which looks and sounds simple but I assure you it is the best donut I've ever had its crunchy on the outside and dense and doughy on... More

Whenever we are in Longbeach, we make it a ritual to stop in for a nummie...usually an apple fritter and a maple bar. They have such a selection it takes awhile to make up your mind. Very good coffee, too!

You'll want everything here. The most difficult task is choosing only what you can handle. Wait til you see what's in these glass cases! Excellent quality food - at good prices.

This is an old time bakery with tons of items to choose from, everything we had was great. The people behind the counter seemed a little pushy the first time we stopped but the second visit was much better.

This place came highly recommended and was very disappointing. The pastries were ok but I think our local Safeway makes better for half the price. The building smelled very musty and dirty almost ruining my appetite. There was plenty of seating available but all tables were dirty and had fixed sitting. If you are a larger person or very pregnant... More

You simply have got to go here at least once on any trip to Longbeach. Variety of yummy baked goods, sandwiches & chowder. Bring cash though or an ATM card because they don't take credit cards.

When visiting Long Beach, you must stop and see this place! This is an old-fashioned bakery, not the supermarket kind with a limited selection. Your biggest problem here will be deciding what to choose. There are so many cakes, pies, and pastries to choose from and they all look so good. We're not big on desserts, but these were sooo... They have such a great variety of baked goods! We popped in every morning of our beach vacation to pick up some fresh donuts. The kids hd a great time picking out their donuts (try the Texas sized donut!).
