We eat here quite a few times a year & always have good food. The waitstaff is always very good. The owners always come by to make sure your food is good & everything is to your satisfaction.
My husband and I decided to use our Groupon for lunch at Fins Bistro this last Thursday. It was sunny and we were able to get a table by the window to enjoy the sun. There are about 4 or 5 tables outside on the patio in front of the restaurant but we didn't want to have the traffic noise... More
Our hotel, along with hotel patrons, recommended Fins Bistro, so we decided to check it out. While we didn't have reservations, we called about 7:30 on Saturday night, and were able to get a table for 6 within 20 minutes. We tried the Seafood Louis Salad and the Scallop Risotto special, and were impressed by both. We thought the prices... More
We went to Fins Bistro because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! We read that they specialized in seafood and that's what we ordered. The night we were there we got halibut and salmon and a shrimp appetizer. Not only was the food well-prepared, the chef had made some interesting sauces that were pretty innovative. Wait... More
I went to Fins in late July with hopes for good seafood and wine. I'd only been once before a year before and was not too impressed although my friend was. I went with an open mind with the same friend. The setting is in itself very nice, high ceilings, open atmosphere and outdoor seating along Front St if you... More
Went here for brunch with my two kids and niece and nephew. We arrived around 11:45 but by the time we were seated it was about 11:55. The menu said no pancakes or waffles after 12 so of course the kids were disappointed. The food was decent and atmosphere nice.
Looking for a before-theater dinner led us to Fins, which just happens to be attached to the Village Theater and it was super. The coconut shrimp were flavorful and crispy, the Louis salad filled with big chunks of crab, baby shrimp and fresh veggies, the Northwest Trio of fish was very interesting and tasty. Who knew that halibut had cheeks?... More
Fins Bistro has everything a restaurant should have: excellent food, friendly efficient wait staff, creatively pleasant atmosphere, and throw in co-location with live theatre. Simply put, you should try this place out. So far I can't get past the seafood, except for the French onion soup. Everything is always prepared to perfection and delicious. You can't ask for a better... More
Ate here on Friday, May 10th, with no reservations and due to several of the locals recommendations. I had the famous crab cakes dinner, and my fiance had scallops/pasta. Both were exceptionally tasty. Our server was very pleasant and accomodating. He answered several questions regarding a few "cant miss" local attractions. The tea had a funny flavor, but all the...
