It would have been nice to have a greeting from our server instead of just "Are you ready to order?" Burger had no flavor. I'd guess it's from Costco or Sysco. Ranch dressing is good. Chicken Caesar was ok. Carrot cake was good. Restroom was old. We wouldn't return. Please, please consider making your burgers from scratch.

This was my choice for Mother's Day. Have always had such great meals here but today was a disappointment. 3 of 4 meals were just pretty average to not really great. Hope it was just an off day & hope I can get my husband back there again. He wasn't impressed at all.

Eight of us went to brunch recently at Yellow Church. I had made reservations and we had the nice small room at the rear of the restaurant. Even though the cafe was busy we felt very cozy in the room. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Only fault that I could fine was the cost, while... More

I ate there once, and won't go again. We were the ONLY customers in the restaurant, but the waitress could barely be bothered to get us water, much less take our orders, check for refills, etc. What should have been a quick, easy meal (grilled cheese) turned into 1.5 hour experience. Did I mention we were the only customers in... More

I've always loved this place and haven't been in ages but I was a little disappointed when leaving. The food was good but for the price I paid I would expect it to be great and my child's grilled cheese was burnt. So I don't think I will be returning for a meal anytime soon. But their heavenly loafs and... More

While visiting friends in Ellensburg, WA last weekend we decided to pop into the Yellow Church Cafe for a late breakfast. What a delight! The atmosphere was darling with brightly colored walls and an open kitchen where the alter once stood. The service was good (I had to ask for a coffee refill, but it was busy). The food was... More

Little old church that was transformed into a cute quaint cozy little restaurant. Very charming with great service and tasty food. We found it on Trip Advisor as we were passing through following Mom's Weekend at WSU. So glad we stopped! Love finding little places like this. It's about 1.5 Miles's off I-90, so we would have never found it... More

Quaint cafe in a very bright yellow former church. We ordered two Lunch Combos and one Quiche with Salad. The Lunch Combos included their signature Heavenly Bread, salad and soup. The Heavenly Bread is indeed devine! It was served warm, covered in herbs and cheese. Enjoyed a house salad with house made Mandarin Vinaigrette that was very light, fresh, yet... More

We stopped into YCC for lunch on our way to Spokane, and we were treated to some good food and reasonable prices in a unique atmosphere. We got an order of their signature heavenly bread, and concur that it's something you have to try at least once. Think of a savory, giant cinnamon roll with cheese and seasoning instead of... More

I was traveling through Ellensburg, looking for a good place for a late breakfast/brunch and saw a sidewalk sign outside a bright yellow building. The old church was a relaxing place to eat. The breakfast skillet was tasty, and huge. Will be sure to stop again when I am in the area.
