High end restaurant with gourmet-chef cooked food to match. this is a romantic spot nestled into a canyon hanging over a stream just above the oyster beds. Perfect for special occasions or if you just want to treat yourself.

I wouldn't know where to begin to describe this exceptional restaurant. The view, the service, crusty bread, mussels from Penn Cove, key lime dessert - all extraordinary. If you are in Seattle, take a drive on the Chuckanut and enjoy a meal here at sunset.
Been hearing how good this place was for years and was not disappointed. Very nice place, If you want to go - reservations are needed on weekends..
We have enjoyed many great meals over the past 40 years at the Oyster Bar. First introduced to it by friends on a return trip from Seattle. There have been numerous upgrades but the ambience, view, service and food most importantly have remained consistently outstanding. There are several other restaurants on the Chuckanut Drive, which is a nice side trip...

Gorgeous view!! Nice service by staff. Delicious food but slightly overpriced. Best place to eat with a view in Bellingham. Great for romantic date nights or special celebrations.
Had dinner here with friends on a recent trip to Washington. A beautiful and peaceful drive to the restaurant where we watched the sunset over the water! Charming old fashioned sort of place. Nice menu selection.......celebrate with a bottle of Prosecco :) Fairly expensive but great for a special celebration.

But if you want something more, say a tasty meal served in pleasant surroundings, then the Oyster Bar...

This is the place you take the special visitors from out of town when you want to show off the spectacular sunsets over the San Juan Islands and great Northwest cuisine.
The Kobe burger and sweet potato fries as well as the grilled shrimp and fried oysters were all delicious. Even the vegetables that come with the entrees are fresh and flavorful. The servers are friendly and the owner, Linda, is a gracious host. This is one of our favorite places to stop for lunch or dinner when we make our...
