Living in east TN we don't get to eat at Bob Evans Restaurant often, so we planned in advance to stop in Whytheville while on vacation. Upon arriving the manager at the reception area mumbled, "we'll be with you in a moment" without even looking up (we were the only ones there aside from the 2 waitresses at the front.)... More

You know what to expect when you eat here. Good food at a good price. Service was good and the food brought out quickly. Close to hotels and the interstate.

Maybe it was an off night, but this was our first experience with a Bob Evans restaurant and it wasn't good. Being at the intersection of two major highways, Wytheville has many hotel/motels and fast food chains. After finally getting off Rt. 81, we didn't really feel like going too far to find some dinner. Bob Evans was directly across... More

This restaurant, like others in the Bob Evans chain, offers exceptional value for the prices they charge. My wife and I enjoyed a very tasty salad and a chicken fried steak. The service was very friendly and efficient. This particular restaurant also offered a lovely hillside view of the Virginia countryside.

This is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. The food is always good and we have always gotten excellent service. Worth the fifty mile drive.

Bob Evans Restaurant In Wytheville --- How We Paid $51.16 For A Dried Out Omelette 8/13/12     Before I took this extended summer trip to the East Coast I’d never heard of Bob Evans, but now I wish for that same blissful ignorance. I’m always glad to try something new particularly in the way of a family restaurant, yet my... More

I stopped in with my children to eat after checking in at our hotel. I am not a complete germaphobe (my husband would disagree), but I was a little uneasy when the host told my kids to "pick out any color of menu and straw" they wanted. (Typically, a BE kids menu is folded with a twisty staw stuck inside... More

Ended up stopping here for dinner after going to the Shoney's across the street (yes, Shoney's was bad). Anyways, the staff was friendly and helpful at Bob Evans. The meal was delicious, as was the dessert. The restaurant itself is dated (the hostess said that they are slated to have a remodel in October of 2013), but the view, from... More
