This restaurant went out of business after Labor Day. It will be replaced by something called Hogarth's Bar & Bistro which should open any day.
Bland bland bland, and over priced with mediocre service. What happened there? My kids noodles were over cooked, tasteless and in oil soup. Yuck. Mine were over cooked and in tasteless marinara. I won't go back and wish I had read some recent reviews.
Late dinner (8:00 is late with two kids), marred by terrible service and overpriced food. The place was nearly empty, so the time it took to get our food was ridiculous. Kids had plain pasta and chicken fingers. Neither was impressive based on other reviews and accolades. My wife's Caesar salad was warm -- not the chicken, but the lettuce!... More
Overpriced ambitious menu that resulted in very salty tasteless food. The wine list is decent but few by the glass. Service was friendly but unusually slow given the majority of tables were empty. I just think for the cost we should have been overwhelmed and weren't.
It had been a while since I had come in for dinner, but it was better than ever! My girlfriend and I sat at the bar for half off wine and appetizers, then sat down for a killer meal. It was something I expected from lower Manhattan, not Williamsburg! Such a pleasant surprise!
First time dining here, was on vacation with the family. All five meals came out terrific flavor nicely done. Our server was particularly nice and very attentive. We had the cheese fruit tray as a started and it was quite good. Highly recommend for families or couples. We sat outside on patio but inside looked to have a nice atmosphere.
After enjoying several happy hours (half price wine and bar menu) my children brought me to Buon Amici for Mother's Day. Expensive, poorly made salads with bottled dressing, horrible pizza, and expensive drinks. I gave it another chance and attended the happy hour again last week. Good wine for a good price, friendly bartender, but it stops there. No more... More
Took family from out of town here and will not be going back. Limited menu, no spaghetti, fettuccini or lasagna on menu and it is ridiculous that a $24 entree has to buy a side salad for another $10! It iis sad to see it so empty when it has great potential. Go back to basic Italian fare including large... More
My husband and I decided to try this place tonight...June 25th! I watched the person I think was the manager, check with everyone in our area to ask about their dinner except us. We are African American and I guess didn't belong. The area restaurants here wonder why the locals don't patronize the businesses, but if treated like you don't... More
