Description: Located minutes from Chesapeake Bay on the water is One Fish-Two Fish. We offer an alternative to formal dining, it's what we call "fun dining." The atmosphere is "upscale without the uppity." This unique feeling is created by a casual waterfront environment with boat access. The restaurant is centered around the Exhibition Kitchen with panoramic views of the Bay. The menu incorporates a blend of California style with fresh, local seafood. The wine list focuses on "boutique style" wines and is consistently recognized with the Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence." Stephen Michaels, owner, and his staff strive to make this venue high energy but still elegant. The only thing we overlook is the water. See you there.

We were in the area on business and decided to give One Fish Two Fish a try for dinner. We braved the traffic of the area and were relieved to find a quiet oasis at this establishment right on the inlet. Being a warm evening with a good breeze, we asked to sit outside and proceeded to enjoy a few... More

My wife and I went out to celebrate her birthday. We were looking for a casual, elegant dining experience with a beautiful water view. We found it at One Fish-Two Fish. The evening began with a scenic drive up the marina. We were greeted warmly by the host and hostess and offered a table either inside or outside on the... More

On Cheasapaeke Bay this spacious restaurant with amazing water views is a must. The staff is well trained in fine dining but this place is not stuffy. You can go casual or dress up, either way you'll be welcomed. Menu is a perfect balance of fish and steak. Appetizer and salad are well balanced with acid and sweet. Although they... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Virginia Beach. I've been here on several occasions - girls night, date night, rehearsal dinner, happy hour. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the location is prime - right on the water. The food is excellent. The drinks are great! I recommend making a reservation. This is a must for locals and... I don't mind spending money on good food but our experience was way beyond good. The service, food, atmosphere, and presentation was far superior to anything we had enjoyed in quite a while. Four diners ordered four different meals and there was not a complaint among us. There was one unadventurous who ordered the crab cakes which were sublime. The... More

A large group of friends (30+) recently had cocktails and dinner here. Everything was outstanding! The service was professional & attentive. They handled a large group with ease. The food was delicious-I had the salmon & my spouse had the tuna-both were cooked to perfection. Of course the waterfront view is breathtaking.

I am generally cost conscious so when I want a fine dining experience I select carefully. The food was sublime! I don't usually like she crab soup but theirs is incomparable. We ordered the Cajun fried oyster appetizer. They were succulent rather than dried out with the perfect amount of kick. Although the restaurant was full, the acoustics kept me... More

Normally I base where I eat off of TA reviews, but this time a group of four of us ate here while waiting to meet up for after drinks with our friends (groom and groomsmen) after their grooms dinner in this establishments party room. First off they all walked out of the very nice party room raving about the meal... More
