My son and I had dinner there on a Saturday evening and what a wonderful experience. I had the lasagna and he had the spaghetti with meat sauce. The portions were amazing and the taste was extraordinary! Add the fact that it was a great value you and you have a winner.

Food was excellent. Service was very slow. I had the Caesar salad and fried oysters. The salad was perfect. I loved their take on fried oysters. It was served on fried bread which was topped with marinara sauce and capers. The fried oysters sat on top so that they stayed crispy. Great flavor. Nice presentation. If the service had been... I was in the mood for Italian and saw this little restaurant with decent prices and after all hole in the walls are the best. The food was to die for and the atmosphere amazing. You don't have to be dressy just to get good service. Our waiter was Ro and she was absolutely wonderful. Dealing with a "fat kid"... More

I was looking for a place that serves GREAT spaghetti since I didn't feel up to making my own. My husband ordered the spaghetti & meatballs parmigiana and I ordered the scampi fra diavolo. Both dishes were fantastic! I was delighted by the service and the food was excellent! Thanks again Roanna! :)

I tried this restaurant based on the TripAdvisor ranking and was very impressed. The food was excellent and our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone in my party enjoyed their entrees and the friendliness of the waitress. I will certainly be returning. Thank you for a great dining experience!

We ate at Mannino's tonight; it was EXCELLENT! First we had several appetizers and they were all delicious. We had the calamari, the antipasto, and the mozzarella/prosciutto/basil; all of them were fabulous. Then, we all (4) had different entrees and they were fantastic too. Our waitress was really nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. If we ever come back to... More

We took all of Diane's initial recommendations, the She-crab soup was fantastic, with great and large pieces of crab meat. I had a glass of a new red wine (on the Mannino's label) and it was wonderful with the Manicotti Formaggio! My wife's dish of Shrimp Della Casa was excellent and there were no leftovers. Thank you, Diane, for a... More

We love $9.99 wine night at this Kempsville gem of a restaurant! The food is always spectacular and trying new wines at this price is fun and not at all risky! Service is excellent and dishes are always so large they become lunch the next day.

We went with friends to grab a late dinner and it was amazing! The she-crab soup was the best we have had anywhere. Loaded with crab, and flavor like none other. Our server Martha, was fun and on her game with service and excellent menu recommendations. A must to visit!!

Came here for dinner prior to a weekend of running (I'm in town for the Shamrock 1/2 Marathon and 8K). It's a small place in a shopping center that's easy to miss to be on the look out for it!! I ate at the bar, but there were a places available to be seated. For an appetizer, I got the... More
