Great food. Each dish has multiple size/price options which encouraged me to try several dishes. Smallish, but very nice, by-the-glass wine selection. The services was good as well. There are only a couple things which made me give this place a rating of 4 instead of 5. 1. Although I ordered "dinner" type items, salad course, fish course, and red... More

Simply, it was outstanding. I went on a week night and they were slammed to the gills but we were able to slip into the tiny European feel Red Rooster bar. All of the staff had a warm friendly demeanor. They looked you in the eye and smiled when they spoke. A really great attribute for any establishment. The service... More

My favorite in the Roanoke/Montgomery Co. greater area, and next is the Palisades Restaurant in Eggleston, which can't be reviewed for some reason on trip advisor. Nevertheless, I think both are a level ahead of any others, and the quaint atmosphere of both enhance the experience. When I bring someone to this particular restaurant, , and they ask my recommendation,... More

I prefer to think of ratings in terms of grades. I think this resturaunt deserves an A+ based on several factors. The restaurant in a small, friendly local spot with excellent food. They welcomed me nicely, proved a clean comfortable place to enjoy a fancy meal with none of the pretentious BS that many other nice area restaurants seem to... More

We decided to have an impromtu lunch here on the 29th of March after reading all the great reviews. A e arrived, the dining room had several empty tables but still the maitre'd hesitated to seat us immediately as we did not have reservations. The place never filled up after we were seated so we wondered a bit why such... More

As others have said, this is simply the best restaurant in the valley. The food is excellent and the service is perhaps the best I've ever experienced anywhere in my life. Highly recommend!

What a nice and delicious lunch we had there. And the best thing about lunch is that you can HEAR everyone at the table....not so in the evening when the place is packed because acoustics are terrible. Food was wonderful as always, as was service and wine.

This restaurant came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. I was worried when I saw comments about "quality" over "quantity" but the menu offers the combination of both. Almost every dish had a small plate or big plate choice which gives diners a lot of flexibility. I ended up having 3 small "plates" including Lobster Bisque which left plenty... More

While making an overnight rest stop on a long car drive, we came upon the Blue Apron. Expecting to just grab a bite to eat somewhere, we were thrilled to have the experience of eating at the Blue Apron. The menu was innovative, I had a drink I had not ever known of, and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere... More
